Home renovations in Woodstock
Woodstock renovations are older row houses and semis on tight sites, with warehouses and busier roads mixed in. Access is the first constraint.

Many houses open straight off the pavement. There is no side passage, so materials come through the front door and rubble leaves the same way. Party walls mean you cannot assume a wall is yours to remove. Victorian roofs and additions at the back are often a patchwork of flat roofs and pitched roofs. Leaks at the joint between them are common and should be fixed before new ceilings go in.
Streets differ quickly between residential rows and light-industrial edges. Name the street character. A builder pricing a semi with a yard is not pricing a warehouse conversion, and we are not describing warehouse fit-outs on this page.
Sending the enquiry
Sending the form on this page is free. It uses the same enquiry path as the rest of Cape Town Construction. A provider on the Lekker Network who covers this area and this kind of work may contact you. The price and the contract, if you hire someone, are between you and that provider. This site does not promise how quickly anyone replies.
What to put in the first message
Say row house or semi, and whether there is a side passage. If a flat roof meets a pitched roof at the back, say so. Party walls should be mentioned before anyone talks about removing one.
Questions
Is Woodstock a heritage area?
Some buildings are protected and some are not. Check the erf. This page will not declare your house exempt.
Do you include Salt River?
Salt River is next door and often similar terraces. Name it rather than relying on this page alone.
Can deliveries use a truck?
Often only a small vehicle, and not at peak traffic. Say if the street is narrow.
